THURSTON ARNOLD

ARTIST

Thurston Arnold finds inspiration from many sources and from classical artists who his grandfather adored to contemporary mediums. Some work is based on photography, others on studying and interpreting 'real life'.

Educated at St Pauls School when Art was frowned upon he won the art prize and went on to follow a more academic career before taking up photography professionally and painting.

He enjoys and is happy with both mediums but still finds there is still a notion that art and photography don't mix - a notion he ignores.

He lives and works in France (Biarritz) and the UK (London)

He is married to Isabelle and has one son, Maxim
